Having worked in the nursery business for many years and specializing in crape myrtles for over 13yrs now, we have tried our best to answer any questions you may have before you know you had them.
And that continues here, on Our Promise to You.
Yes, there's a lot of store policy and whatnot...and it was far more boring to write that it is for you to read, if you can believe it! But all of it is important information you should know before you buy. I'll throw in some reasoning behind it and probably include more pictures of pets to keep myself awake.

Once the item has been shipped, we are unable to cancel the order or
provide a refund. - Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds: Due to the nature of live plants and potential risks associated with cross-contamination or damage during transportation, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or provide refunds for live plant purchases. We are committed to ensuring the health and quality of our plants, and we stand behind the condition of our products when they leave our facility. (This may sound harsh, but it makes sense. You going through all the trouble of shipping a plant back is just silly. And you more than likely wouldn't want to exchange a live puppy either. But fret not, we are indeed still human beings on the other side of the screen and realize shit happens. So don't hesitate to reach out to us!)
- Product Descriptions and Variations: We do not substitute. While we make every effort to accurately describe our products, including their characteristics, size, and color, please note that slight variations may occur due to natural growth patterns and seasonal and environmental influences. We strive to provide clear and representative product images to assist you in making an informed decision. (Yep, plants grow how plants grow.)
- Care and Maintenance: We provide care instructions with each plant to help you ensure its optimal growth and health. It is important to follow these instructions carefully to promote the well-being of your purchased plants. We are more than happy to answer any questions or provide guidance regarding plant care. However, we cannot be held responsible for damages caused by improper care or external factors beyond our control. (Try to remember to water them)
- Intellectual Property: All content, including text, images, logos, and trademarks displayed on our website or promotional materials, are the property of Southern Charm Crape Myrtles, LLC, and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized use or reproduction of our content is strictly prohibited. (Don't steel anything...just ask and I'll probably just give it to you. These are plants, not spacecraft blueprints)

- 90-Day Guarantee: We take pride in the health and well-being of our plants. If, within 90 days of receiving your order, you experience any issues or concerns with the condition of your purchased plants, please reach out to our dedicated customer service team. We will gladly provide guidance and assistance to help address any problems. (If you plant them when they're dormant this may be of concern to you, understandably! If you're in zone 8-10 you won't have any trouble. If you're in zone 5, 6 or 7, plant them when they're in an active state of growth to ensure they root. Better safe than sorry)
- Safe Delivery: Rest assured that we take utmost care in packaging and shipping your plants to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. We work with trusted shipping partners to guarantee safe delivery to your doorstep. (Yep, this one is pretty obvious too)

Answer: We're not everyone else. We're a small, family-owned business. We're not Wal-Mart, Lowe's or Home Depot. And we're not a giant third-party online nursery either. When purchasing from us, you're purchasing from the very same people that have bred the plants, grown the plants, propagated the plants, cared for the plants, designed/built the online store, packed and shipped the plants and even wrote the very sentence you're reading. And it's for these very reasons that we take pride in what we do and stand behind our products. You won't need a 1-year guarantee.
